2. Liquor Licensing & Age Requirements

2.1 Legal Age: It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. By placing an order for any alcoholic product, you warrant and certify that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.

  • The recipient of the order is at least 18 years of age.

  • You are not purchasing alcohol for a minor.

2.2 License Information: Liquor is sold under NSW Liquor License Number: LIQO660406777. All sales are subject to the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (NSW) or relevant state legislation.

3. Orders and Payments

3.1 Offer and Acceptance: Your order constitutes an “Offer to Purchase.” A contract is only formed when we dispatch your goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected breach of liquor laws, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
3.2 Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
3.3 PayPal & Secure Payments: We accept payments via PayPal and major credit cards.

  • Transactions are processed securely; we do not store your full payment details.

  • If using PayPal, you agree to comply with the PayPal User Agreement.

  • Refunds will be processed back to the original PayPal account or card used.

4. Shipping & Delivery (Australia Post)

4.1 Carrier: All orders are shipped via Australia Post.
4.2 Signature Required: Under Australian law, alcohol deliveries cannot be left unattended. We do not offer “Authority to Leave.”
4.3 ID Verification (ID25): Australia Post operates under an ID25 policy. If the recipient appears to be under 25, the driver will require a valid photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Proof of Age card) showing the individual is 18+.
4.4 Collection: If no one is available to sign, the parcel will be diverted to the nearest Australia Post office. Parcels not collected within the timeframe specified by Australia Post will be returned to us, and a re-delivery fee may apply.
4.5 Restricted Areas: We do not ship to dry zones or restricted communities (e.g., certain postcodes in NT, QLD, and WA).

5. Product Quality & Returns

5.1 Consumer Guarantees: Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
5.2 Faulty or Damaged Goods: If your order arrives damaged (e.g., a broken bottle), please email us at lee@theoldsaltbush.com.au within 48 hours with photographic evidence. In accordance with Australia Post requirements, please retain the packaging, as it may need to be inspected.
5.3 Change of Mind: Due to health and safety regulations for food and beverages, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been dispatched.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and imagery on theoldsaltbush.com.au are the property of The Old Salt Bush. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any part of this site without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Old Saltbush is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia.
